In response to Trump’s provocations, Der Spiegel calls for Trump’s removal for being both unfit and dangerous. Der Spiegel is not a crackpot leftist publication. It is a respected German weekly news magazine published in Hamburg. It is one of Europe’s largest publications of its kind, with a weekly circulation of 840,000. That Der Spiegel editorially skewers Trump so viscerally says a lot about where US-EU relations are headed from here.
