About Colleen M. Thornton:
- City Without Walls, the non-profit artists' cooperative gallery in Newark, New Jersey that I co-founded in 1975, is still going strong.
- In 2001 I participated in an online debate between Cia Lungile Rinne (co-author, with photographer Joakim Makathini Eskildsen, of the book iChickenMoon) and
A. D. Coleman, who reviewed it for the Danish journal Katalog. It's a lengthy exchange of letters about issues of documentary vs. fine art, the state of contemporary art education, and other subjects. Here's my contribution to the debate.
- My homepage with "portfolio" of artworks.
- My sister Joann Thornton's photography decorating the set of Martha Stewart's TV show "The Apprentice." See the "War Room" and "Hallway" for my sister's beautiful black & white collotype prints.
